Ahmadinejad Loves Soccer, A Twitter account purportedly written by Irans hard-line president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has sent a message of support for the countrys World Cup team. The account, @DrAhmadinejad, started in April. Although it is not verifiable by NBC News, it was linked to on Twitter by the respected news website Iran News Now. The most recent message congratulated the Iranian soccer team following their strong World Cup display against Argentina. Iran looked to be heading for a shock draw against superstar Lionel Messis team until a last-minute goal scored by the former World Player of the Year on Saturday.
