Albert Emon, The French first division club announced the move on its website late Monday. Emon will work closely alongside interim manager Jose Anigo, who stepped in to replace Elie Baup after he was sacked in December.
Marseille is looking for a long-term coach with Anigo not expected to carry on beyond the end of this season.
